What health benefits are there? 

Acai has antioxidant properties, helps regulate intestinal transit and interferes with the metabolism of lipids and carbohydrates.  

Açaí is high fibre content, vitamin A source, potassium, calcium and iron source. Vitamin A contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and potassium content to that of the nervous system. 

Taste and consistency: 

The best acai berries are organically sourced. The fruits have a good taste, similar to blueberries or chocolate and can therefore be eaten like any other fruit. However, it is difficult to find them on the market as it is a product widely used on the market today in the form of dietary supplements or powders. 

How do you take Açai?

Cooking With Açaí

Enjoy it with yoghurt or frozen yoghurt, with milk together with cereal or other dried fruits and oil seeds, or still as an ingredient for homemade desserts, herbal teas or in the form of juice or detox drink. 


Açaí-Muesli

Ingredients: 

5g Açaí Berry Powder

250g Greek Joghurt

30g Coconut Milk

15g Honey

30g Coconut

1/2 Banana

30g Muesli

Preparation:

Mix the yoghurt together with the coconut milk in a bowl.

Add the açaí powder in the bowl and mix everything until a smooth and even mass is created.

Sweeten with honey. Cut the coconut into thin strips and slice the banana after peeling. 

Spread the fruit on the mixture and finally add the whole grain or cereal.

This dish provides a lot of energy and is ideal for those who do sports and for people who like to eat healthy.

Açaí-Smoothie

Ingredients: 

5g Açaí Berry Powder

1 Apple

3/4 Peach

10 Strawberries

1 Banana

1 Glass Milk (vegetarian)

Preparation:

After the apple and peaches have been cut into small cubes, all the ingredients are whisked together until a creamy mass.


If it is too thick, add a little more milk.

Açaí-Chia-Pudding

Ingredients:

2 Spoons Chia Seeds (20g)

1/2 Cup Almond Milk (125 ml)

2 Tea Spoons Açaí Berry Powder

1/2 Banana (smashed)

Topping: 1/2 Banana (sliced), Pumpkin Seeds, Goji-Berries, Blue Berries 


Preparation:


Put the chia seeds, powdered acaí, banana puree and plant milk in a lockable cup, mix all ingredients well with a teaspoon, close the lid and shake vigorously.

Leave in the fridge for 1-8 hours. Before eating: cut banana, pumpkin seeds, goji berries and blueberries.
